Safety at NVER Residential Complex: Monolithic Structural Frame, Real-Time Structural Monitoring, and Autonomous Shelter

NVER is a 34-story residential complex developed by Taryan Group in the Pechersk district of Kyiv. Safety is integrated into NVER from the design and construction stages and consists of three levels of protection: a monolithic reinforced concrete frame, an automated structural monitoring system, and an autonomous shelter on level −3.

What Type of Structural Design Does NVER Use?

NVER is being built using monolithic reinforced concrete frame technology. Steel reinforcement and concrete form a unified system, allowing the building to function as a single integrated structure and distribute loads evenly.

The structural frame is constructed using B60-grade concrete.

What Kind of Shelter Is Available at NVER Residential Complex?

An autonomous shelter for residents is located on underground level −3 of NVER. Its systems were integrated into the building’s architecture during the initial design stage.The shelter includes:

  • Sleeping areas for residents;A food preparation area;Wi-Fi;Water reserves stored in autonomous tanks;Heating powered by dedicated generators.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is It Safe to Live in NVER’s 34-Story Tower?

Yes. The condition of NVER’s load-bearing structures is continuously monitored by an automated system that compares actual measurements with engineering design models every hour.

    Does NVER Have a Shelter?

Yes. An autonomous shelter is located on level −3 of the building. It features sleeping areas, Wi-Fi, water reserves, and heating powered by dedicated generators.

Does the NVER Shelter Operate During a Power Outage?

Yes. Heating is provided by dedicated generators, while water is supplied from autonomous storage tanks.

What Is Beyond Monitoring Structural Monitoring?

Beyond Monitoring is a cloud-based platform that collects data from sensors embedded in the building’s load-bearing elements and analyzes whether their actual condition corresponds to the engineering design calculations.
